What is a land exchange
Land for property, instead of land for cash.
In a land exchange agreement the landowner keeps ownership of the land and contributes it to a development. The developer funds and builds the project, and the owner receives an agreed percentage of the finished apartments or villas instead of a sale price. The percentage depends on the location, the plot size, the planning zone and the building coefficient.
